Dr. Skateboard’s Action Science – Simple Machines comic book is the first installment of a series of graphic novels based on the fundamental physical science areas, which include forces, motion, Newton’s Laws of Motion and simple machines. The 26-page full color comic covers the topics of simple machines including levers, fulcrums, inclined planes, wheels and axles, screws, complex machines, work and power.  This curriculum supplement can be used to align to physical science topics needed for students from upper elementary to early high school courses.
