Dr. Skateboard Demo - Santiago, Chile - August 2008

On Thursday, August 21, I did a brief demonstration for students and faculty at La Universidad Metropolitana de Ciencia de la Educación (UMCE) on the patio of the new Chemistry and Astronomy Building. It was part of the students class in Mechanics and to show the connections of skateboarding to physics. The students will use future measurements to make computer models as part of thier spring class under the direction of Prof. Claudio's Pérez's, who took these great pictures.
